Newfoundland (now in Canada): Cape Pine. (10) 'Design for a screamer for Foggy Weather for Cape Pine Newfoundland'. Scale: 4.5 inches to 6 feet. Signed by Alexander Gordon and stated by him to be his first design, transmitted with his report of 21 September 1848. (11) 'Fog Signal for Cape Pine Newfoundland Design No.2'. Scale: 1 inch to 4 feet. Referred to in Alexander Gordon's letter of 23 September 1850.
