Eight sheets of drawings of proposed Ordnance works in Corfu, originally drawn to illustrate the Barrack Annual Estimate for 1855-1856. (49) 'Sketch of the Citadel of Corfu'; (50, 51) quarters for officers commanding regiments; (52) urinal near B Barrack; (53) engine shed; (54) barrack stores; (55) cupboards for military school; (56) 'Conversion of a Portion of the Gallery under the Fausse-Braie Raymond Bastion, into a Guard-room'. Scale: sketch of citadel 5.1 inches to 220 yards [1:1,552]; cupboards 1 inch to 1 foot [1:12]; others 6 inches to 60 feet [1:120]. (55) Signed by [?J.] Marshall, clerk of works; all others copied by J. Baston, Colour Sergeant RS & M [Royal Sappers and Miners], and signed by E Ogle, Captain, Royal Engineers, 1 November 1854. Dimensions of sheets: between 22 cm x 27 cm and 46 cm x 54 cm.
