Eight sheets of drawings of military prisons in the Ionian Islands, originally drawn to illustrate report and estimate dated 22 April 1846. (16) 'Design for a District Military Prison Vido': plans, sections and elevations. Reference table. Scale: plan 5.25 inches to 160 feet [1:365]; sections 4 inches to 60 feet [1:180]; plan of single cell 1 inch to 6 feet [1:72]. With additions in pencil. Signed by F C Hassard, Lieutenant, Royal Engineers, 9 April 1846; and by A Emmett, Lieutenant Colonel, Commanding Royal Engineer, 21 April 1846. (17) 'Plan Section and Elevation for Military Prisons proposed for the Island of Cephalonia'. Scale: 1 inch to 6 feet [1:72]; section of cast iron column 1 inch to 1 foot [1:12].
