Two sheets of drawings (originally filed with papers of earlier date) of Ordnance works on Zante. (9) 'Plans and Elevations of Officers Mess Establishment and Quarters Castle of Zante'. Scale: 1 inch to 6 feet [1:72]. (12) 'Elevation North Front'. Both signed by Edward Vicars, Major, Royal Engineers; and by R Thomson, Lieutenant Colonel, Commanding Royal Engineer to accompany letter of 31 May 1844. Dimensions of sheets: (9) 70 cm x 43 cm; (12) 27.5 cm x 43 cm.
