Mauritius. Three plans and sections of proposed cells and a guard house at the Mahèbourg. Barracks, boundary walls, roads, other buildings and the 'La Chave' River are also shown. Reference notes on (18). Scales: (18) 1 inch to 50 feet; (19) heights 1 inch to 33 feet, distances 1 inch to 50 links; (20) plan 1 inch to 16 feet, section 1 inch to 8 feet. Compass indicator on (18). (19) Signed by Lieutenant Colonel Thomas Cunningham, Royal Engineers, 4 January 1831. Originally accompanying a report dated 12 January 1831 by Lieutenant Colonel Cunningham, Royal Engineers Office, Mauritius to the Inspector General of Fortifications.
