Mauritius. Two plans, elevation and section on a single sheet of (i) a proposed guard house showing rooms and their dimensions and (ii) the extant guard house and the proposed guard house at the Mahèbourg. The coastline, roads, jetties, buildings and parade grounds are also shown. Scales: (i) 1 inch to 14 feet; (ii) 1 inch to 300 feet. Signed by Lieutenant G R Hutchinson, Royal Engineers, and by Lieutenant Colonel Thomas Fyers, 23 February 1837 and originally accompanying a report dated 23 February 1837 by Fyers to the Inspector General of Fortifications.
