Van Diemens Land (now Tasmania, a state of Australia). Plan 'Referred to by Mr Simmons' of the barracks at Hobart showing boundaries, walls and buildings. Scale: 1 inch to 80 feet (calculated). Reference key to buildings and rooms. Stamped by the Colonial Engineers Office, Hobart, 4 January 1838. Originally accompanying correspondence relating to a dispute over land under the control of the Colonial government dated 1 September 1836.
