Two maps on a single sheet of actions at Gedaref: (i) on 28 September 1898 showing the positions of forts, hospitals, guns and battalions; and (ii) on 22 September 1898 showing land contours and the positions of the Dervish and Egyptian forces. Reference tables. Scales: (i) 1 inch to 293 yards; 1 inch to 352 yards. (ii) Compass indicators. Signed by Hubert Morant, Arab Battalion EA, (i) 2 and (ii) 10 October 1898. Originally accompanying correspondence and copies of reports relating to actions at Kassala.
