Positions of troops supplied by Captain Rawlinson DAAG [Deputy Assistant Adjutant General]. Lithographed at the Intelligence Division, War Office, September 1898. Originally accompanying a report dated 5 September 1898 from Major General Sir Herbert Kitchener, Sirdar to Lieutenant General Sir Francis Grenfell Commanding in Egypt. Subsequently printed as IDWO 1368 with the title 'Sketch map of the Battle of Omdurman, 2nd September 1898'.
