Sudan. Three plans showing (1) the battlefield at 'Um Debreikat' 24 November 1899; (2) the action at 'Abu Aada' 22 November 1899; and (3) the White Nile from 'Tura El Khadra' to 'Musran Isle'. Scales: (1) 1 inch to 293 yards; (2) 1:63360; (3) no scale shown. (1)-(2) signed by Captain N M Smyth (1) 22 and (2) 24 November 1899. Originally accompanying a report dated 25 November 1899 from R Wingate, Colonel Commanding expedition force, to Major General Lord Kitchener Sirdar. Sheet sizes between 34 cm x 21 cm and 57 cm x 48 cm.
