Reference note to place names. Scales: (19) 1:500000; (20) 1:1096000. Lithographed at the Intelligence Branch, Quarter Master General's Department under the direction of Lieutenant Colonel R Home, CB, Royal Engineers, January 1877. Originally accompanying the 'Report on Egypt' dated 16 June 1876 compiled by P L Macdougall, Deputy Quarter Master General, Intelligence Branch, War Office. Dimensions of sheets: (19) 53 cm x 66.5 cm; (20) 68.5 cm x 62 cm.
