Map in two sheets of an area between 22°E and 52°E and between 27°N and 47°N, 'to illustrate probable concentration and lines of operation in the event of an occupation of Asia Minor by Russia'. Rivers, towns, mountains, railways and the boundaries of the Russian and Ottoman empires and Persia (now Iran) are also shown. Reference table. Lithographed at the Quarter Master General's Department October 1876. Originally illustrating a War Office paper on the theatre of war in Asiatic Turkey and Transcaucasia. Dimensions of sheets: (4) 67 cm x 101 cm; (5) 64.5 cm x 101 cm.
