Yorkshire. Two plans showing Ordnance property at Sheffield. (172) Outline plan; (173) gives details, with boundaries, property purchased from the Duke of Norfolk, the parade ground and the old barracks shown. Reference notes. Signed by Lieutenant Henry Grain, Royal Engineers, 11 September 1848 and by Major Thomas Foster, Royal Engineers, 12 September 1848. Originally accompanying a return of landed property dated 12 September 1848 by Grain and Foster to the Inspector General of Fortifications. Dimensions of sheets: (172) 28 cm x 42 cm; (173) 22 cm x 26.5 cm.
