Lancashire. Two plans on a single sheet showing Ordnance property at Manchester: (i) the infantry barrack ground and (ii) the cavalry barrack ground. Boundaries are also shown. Reference notes. Scale: 1 inch to 100 feet. Compass indicator. Signed by Lieutenant Henry Grain, Royal Engineers, 11 September 1848 and by Major Thomas Foster, Royal Engineers 12 September 1848. Originally accompanying a return of landed property dated 12 September 1848 by Grain and Foster to the Inspector General of Fortifications.
