Kent:. Plan of beach land at Seabrook near Hythe showing the fence erected by Mr Taylor. The boundary of Ordnance land and its size, a path, roads, the Royal Military Canal, a fence, a hedge and gates are also shown. Reference notes. Scale: 1 inch to 2 chains. Initialled 'W.B.T' 10 November 1849. Signed by J Studd CW, Royal Engineers' Office, Hythe, 5 August 1848 and by Captain C A Weyman, Royal Engineers. Originally accompanying a return of land property dated 20 November 1849 by Lieutenant Colonel William Burton Tylden, Royal Engineers, to the Inspector General of Fortifications.
