Channel Islands. Three plans showing Ordnance land in Alderney at (150) Lougy Barracks, (151) the Nunnery Hospital and (152) Coblets Barracks. Boundaries, walls, gates, buildings and roads are also shown. Reference notes. Scales: (150) 1 inch to 100 feet; (151) 1 inch to 30 feet; (152) 1 inch to 50 feet. Compass indicators. Signed by Lieutenant Fairfax Charles Hassard and by Lieutenant Colonel William Cuthert Ward, Royal Engineers, 3 August 1848. Originally accompanying a return of landed property of the same date by Ward to the Inspector General of Fortifications. Sheet sizes between 24 cm x 25 cm and 37 cm x 38 cm.
