Kent. Plan showing the locations of Sutherland Fort and towers 14 and 15 at Hythe. Boundaries of Ordnance land, the beach, the sea, a road and footpaths are also shown. Scale: 1 inch to 270 feet. Signed by Lieutenant Colonel W B Tylden, Commanding Royal Engineer, 31 August 1848 and originally accompanying his return of land property of the same date to the Inspector General of Fortifications.
