Boundaries and dimensions of Ordnance land, buildings, beach land and high water marks are also shown. Reference table and keys. Scale: 1 inch to 50 feet. Compass indicator. Initialled 'W.B.T'. Signed by Captain Alexander Gordon, Royal Engineers, 18 July 1848 and by A W Gordon. Originally accompanying a return of land property dated 31 August 1848 by Lieutenant Colonel William Burton Tylden, Royal Engineers, Dover to the Inspector General of Fortifications.
