Kent. Plan showing tower 21 and the circular redoubt at Dymchurch. Buildings, roads, the beach, the sea, Dymchurch Wall, Romney Marsh and a stream are also shown. Reference table. Scale: 1 inch to 100 feet. Compass indicator. Initialled 'W.B.T'. Signed by W J Kelly, Hythe, and by Captain Alexander Gordon, Royal Engineers, 29 July 1848. Originally accompanying a return of land property dated 31 August 1848 by Lieutenant Colonel William Burton Tylden, Royal Engineers, Dover to the Inspector General of Fortifications.
