Kent. Two plans of Ordnance lands at Dover Castle showing the proposed area to be disposed of. The Castle, the boundary, cliffs, the high water mark and the jetty are also shown. Reference tables. Scales: (103) 1 inch to 20 feet; (104) 1 inch to 3 feet. Signed by Lieut enant Fitzroy [Molyneux Henry] Somerset, Royal Engineers, 12 July 1848. Originally accompanying a return of land property dated 31 August 1848 by Lieutenant Colonel William Burton Tylden, Royal Engineers, Dover to the Inspector General of Fortifications. Dimensions of sheets: (103) 45.5 cm x 37 cm; (104) 28 cm x 43 cm.
