Kent. Plans of (97) No 4 North Infantry Barracks and (98) No 5 South Infantry Barracks at Walmer showing boundary walls, canteens, hospitals and other features. Reference note to sizes of properties. Scale: 1 inch to 80 feet. Initialled 'W.B.T.' and signed by Lieutenant Francis Koe, Royal Engineers, 31 August 1848. Originally accompanying a return of land property dated 31 August 1848 by Lieutenant Colonel William Burton Tylden, Royal Engineers, Dover to the Inspector General of Fortifications.
