Kent. Two plans on a single sheet showing Ordnance properties in the Parish of Hoo on the River Medway at (i) Cockham Wood and (ii) Folly Point. Boundaries, a stream and pond and the river bank are also shown. Reference notes to colouring and sizes of land. Scales:(i) 1 inch to 100 feet; (ii) 1 inch to 50 feet. Compass indicators. Signed by Lieutenant Colonel William Henry Slade, Royal Engineers, 27 July 1848 and originally accompanying his report of the same date to the Inspector General of Fortifications. Annotated 'To accompany Returns called for by the Master General's and Board's Order dated 12th June 1848'.
