Kent. Plan showing Ordnance property in Maidstone. Plots of land, boundaries and the River Medway are also shown. Reference note to colouring and sizes of land. Scale: 1 inch to 135 feet. Compass indicator. Signed by Lieutenant Colonel William Henry Slade, Royal Engineers, 28 July 1848. Originally accompanying a report dated 3 May 1849 by R Byham, 84 Pall Mall, London, to the Inspector General of Fortifications. Annotated 'To accompany the returns called for by the Master General's and Board's Order dated 12th June 1848'.
