Lancashire. Plan showing Ordnance property in Blackburn. Boundaries of land and divisions into different uses, roads and the Leeds and Liverpool Canal are also shown. Reference table. Scale: 1 inch to 100 feet. Signed by Lieutenant Henry Grain, Royal Engineers, 11 September 1848 and by Major J Foster, Royal Engineers, 12 September 1848. Originally accompanying a report dated 3 May 1849 by R Byham, 84 Pall Mall, London, to the Inspector General of Fortifications. Annotated 'To accompany returns called for by Circular dated 20th June 1848'.
