Jersey. Two plans of Tower No 8 at Grouville Bay showing (21) the dangerous state of the tower; and (22) a proposed retaining wall for the tower, with dimensions. Scales: (21) 1 inch to 600 feet; (22). Reference note on (21). Compass indicators. Signed by Lieutenant Colonel C Grierson, Commanding Royal Engineer, and originally accompanying his (21) letter dated 26 June and (22) memorandum dated 12th July 1847 to the Inspector General of Fortifications. Dimensions of sheets: (21) 26.5 cm x 57.5 cm; (22) 20 cm x 45 cm.
