Jersey: Gorey. Plan of Mont Orgueil Castle and the pier showing the boundary wall and 'the distance the proprietors claim from the front of their several houses'. Reference table. Scale: 1 inch to 100 feet. Compass indicator. Signed by Captain Charles Oldershaw, Royal Engineers, and by Lieutenant Colonel F English, Royal Engineers. Originally intended to accompany a letter dated 21 July 1838 from Lieutenant Colonel J Oldfield, Commanding Royal Engineer, but actually accompanying Oldfield's letter dated 7 March 1837.
