Guernsey. Two plans of Fort George showing the works and lands around it belonging to the Board of Ordnance. Scales: 1 inch to 300 feet. Reference tables. Compass indicator on (1). (1) Signed by George Whitoonday, clerk of works and by Lieutenant Colonel G Cardew, Commanding Royal Engineer and originally accompanying Cardew's letter dated 30 November 1830. (3) Signed by Lieutenant Colonel G Cardew Commamding Royal Engineer and originally accompanying his letter dated 29 August 1833. (1) Annotated '... transmitted as explanatory of the Respective Officer's letters dated the 16th Oct and the 30th Nov 1830, in reply to the Honble Board's Order of 5th instant'.
