Ireland: County Sligo (Sligeach). (40) 'Relative sketch of the positions of Old Fort as let to Mr. Wynne and of Green Fort': map also showing a cavalry barracks. Scale: 1 inch to about 303 yards. (41-43) 'Plan of Ordnance Land at Sligo': 3 copies, showing stores, a stable and barracks. Scale: 1 inch to 20 feet [1:240]. Compass indicators to all items. Item 41 marked: 'Copied from a Plan in the Office of Commg Royal Engineer of Ireland date unknown'. Item 43 marked: 'Rec'd 14 Feby. 1825'; this apparently refers to the plan from which it was copied. Items 40-41 and 43 signed: Captain W Williams, Royal Engineers; and initialled: B R B. Originally enclosed: (40-41) in a letter from Colonel G G Lewis, Royal Engineers, 26 March 1846; (42) in a letter from T W Barlow, Solicitor, to R Byham, Inspector General of Fortifications, 15 April 1846; (43) in a letter from Barlow dated 12 May 1852.
