British Kaffraria (now part of Eastern Cape province, South Africa): Line Drift. '... Plan shewing ...new Temporary Huts proposed to be built in place of existing Huts, no longer habitable... existing buildings of stone in good order': sheet also bearing a section and elevation. Reference table to accommodation. Scale: 1 inch to 20 feet [1:240] (plan); 1 inch to 10 feet (elevation and section). Compass indicator. Drawn by Captain-Lieutenant H C B Moody, Commanding Royal Engineer, 20 February 1856. Signed: Colonel D Bolton, Commanding Royal Engineer, 28 February 1856. Originally accompanying a special estimate dated 28 February 1856.
