Ottoman Empire: Rawandiz (now in Iraq). (23) 'Country in vicinity of Rawanduz': sketch plan showing contours, vineyards, heights, neighbouring villages, and the [Rubar-i Rawandiz] river. [Scale: 1:21,120]. Compass indicator. (24) 'Rowanduz from the East (Suj Bulak road)': view. Both items drawn by and signed: Lieutenant Colonel F R Maunsell, 5 August 1918. Dimensions: (23) 28.5 cm x 34 cm; (24) 32.5 cm x 40 cm. Originally enclosed in a letter from Maunsell to [Lieutenant Colonel W H] Gribben, [General Staff].
