South-West Asia. 'Turco-Persian frontier Wazna Pass': sketch map of an area (now in Iraq) south-west of Dohak, lying within a bend of the Little Zab River (Nahr az Zab as Saghir), showing a proposed railway, mule tracks, contours, place names, waterways, and the frontier between the Persia and the Ottoman Empire. Reference table; notes on roads and the terrain; summary of distances. Based on information taken from a report by Captain G Tyrrell, Royal Engineers, December 1902, and from the frontier delimitation map of 1914. Signed: Lieutenant Colonel F R Maunsell, 17 June 1918. Originally illustrating a memorandum dated 18 June 1918.
