Description

Russian Empire: Crimea (now part of Ukraine): Sebastopol (Sevastopol). 'Reconnaissance to accompany the Report of Major General Jones, Commanding Engineer. Dated August 1855': showing the lines of English, French and Russian forces. Reference table. Scale: 1 inch to about 846.2 feet. Compass indicator. Traced from an original map that was produced at the Topographical and Statistical Depot, War Department, August 1855, and signed by T B Jervis, Director.
