Russian Empire: Åland Islands (now part of Finland). 'Position of the Allied Forces at the reduction of Bomarsund 16th August 1854': map, also showing fortifications and soundings. Reference tables to fortifications and to the disposition of British, French and Russian forces. Scale: 3 inches to 1 nautical mile. Compass indicator. By George Giles, Master, HMS Arrogant. Inset: sketched view of two forts.
