Russian Empire: Crimea (now part of Ukraine): Sebastopol (Sevastopol). 'Plate 6': two copies of a plan showing a French attack west of the city and the pits taken from the Russian. (24) MS, coloured; (26) [?printer's proof sheet], lithographed, on blue paper. Reference notes. Scale: 3 inches to 800 yards. Compass indicators; east at the top of item (24); north at the top of item (26). Item (26) certified by Lieutenant Colonel T B Jervis, as a true copy of the plan forwarded by Major General [Harry D] Jones, 12 June 1855 [?i.e. item (24)]. Dimensions: (24) 26 cm x 37.5 cm; (26) 46.5 cm x 29.5 cm.
