Belgium. 3 maps illustrating the 3rd Battle of Ypres. (6) 'Operation of the Front'. Reference table to trench lines, boundaries of reconnaissance and night bombing areas. (7) 'Operations of the R.F.C.... Line as on the 30th July 1917'. Reference table to patrols. (9) 'Western Front Map No. 13 [altered to '22A']' showing four phases of the battle, with covering operations. Reference table. Scales: (6) and (9) 1:250,000; (7) 1:100,000. Originally illustrating a lecture on air operations on the Western Front 1914-1918, given by Air Vice-Marshal Brooke-Popham at the Royal Air Force Staff College, Andover December 1923. Sheet sizes between 36 cm x 36 cm and 56 cm x 44 cm.
