Belgium; France. 'Air Operations 1914-1918': 3 maps of areas (2) between Ostend, Béthune, Laon and Namur, (3) between Lille, Béthune, St Quentin and Le Quesnay and (4) between Ste Menehould, Verdun, Commercy and Bar-le-Duc showing trench lines, railways and areas attacked by air forces. Reference tables. Scales: (2) 1:864000; (3)-(4) 1:250000. Originally illustrating a lecture on air operations on the Western Front 1914-1918, given by Air Vice-Marshal Brooke-Popham at the Royal Air Force Staff College, Andover December 1923. Sheet sizes between 25.5 cm x 26.5 cm and 43.5 cm x 33 cm.
