Clavering to Bute, partly in cipher: the landgrave has sent a memorial demanding payment for forage in Hesse in 1760 and 1761. The landgrave has sent his memorial Prècis des Raisons [SP 87/44/32] to Ratisbon [Regensburg] and awaits the outcome. Clavering speculates whether this will affect his engagement to the king.
