On the completion of each valuation roll the Railway Assessment Authority notified the railway company, the county valuation committee, the assessment committee of every assessment area and each rating authority concerned, by sending extracts as appropriate in each case. There were rights of appeal against any part of the roll by railway companies, county valuation committees, rating authorities or other aggrieved persons. If the roll required alteration at any time during a quinquennial period, the Authority was to make any alteration they thought fit. No reapportionment was required if the total alterations amounted to ten per cent or less of the cumulo value.
