Description

This series contains exonerations of the Land Tax Redemption Office.

Some of the volumes contain the proceedings of the meetings of the Board of Land Tax Commissioners, who were required to sign all redemption certificates and to approve all sales of land, were copied. Other volumes consist of exoneration certificates issued under the provisions of the Finance Acts, 1950 and 1962. Only minimal information concerning the property exonerated is quoted in these certificates however.
