Stephen de Medburne, formerly Chamberlain of Reginald de Grey, requests the King's grace that he might hold the lands and tenements that he holds in Rhuddlan and Cefn Du by the King's charter, doing the services for them that he has previously done, without hindrance from the King's ministers.

He is to have a writ to inquire if it is to the harm etc., and which lands and tenements he holds by demise of Reginald de Grey, and by what services, and how much they are worth annually in all their issues, and how and for what reason they came into the hand of the late King.
