Nature of request
Denise Dudecote states that certain lands of hers in Knightsbridge in Middlesex were seized into the hands of the King's grandfather, because of an indictment maliciously made against her, for which the King's grandfather gave her a charter of pardon; and that the King, in the first year of his reign, has ordered that her lands were to be returned to her. She requests letters under the privy seal to the Chancellor, ordering him to send a writ to the Sheriff of Middlesex to deliver her lands and tenements to her.
Nature of endorsement
This bill is to be delivered to the Chancellor, and he is to have the truth inquired into, and is further to do justice.
