Richard de Porte, John le Foure and other merchants of Guernsey state that when they were coming with their ship from Bordeaux they were attacked and robbed at sea by Spaniards and people from St Malo and Olonne-sur-Mer, the King's enemies, in despite of the truce. They request a remedy, and a writ.[A final sentence, seemingly added to the request, was either deleted or has simply become too faded to read.]
