Nature of request
Richard, son of Richard de Plays, states that in the course of a series of minorities in the reign of Edward I, the manors of Langley Marish and Wraysbury became detached from his inheritance. His grandfather and father sued to recover them, and in the first year of his reign the present King finally sent a writ to the Chancellor, ordering him to inquire into the matter.
