- The people of the community of Bedfordshire complain of fraud, deception and ill-treatment in the taking of prises for the King's horses by William le Ferour, William de Otteford, and others deputed by them as keepers of the King's horses in Bedfordshire: that they use false tallies to receive money for prises which have not been made, with which they buy lands and other things, while other people have fodder taken from them but can have no pay, while they claim a full allowance for this. They also complain that they are appointing unsuitable people to look after the horses, and ask that this might be inquired into by the justices appointed to hold assizes in Bedfordshire.
