Nature of request
Norman Darci states that for his service he was given the wardship of the lands of the heir of Peter Prilli, then under age and in the King's wardship, until the majority of the heir, as fully as William Trussel used to hold them. William has now entered again into the wardship, through the escheator, and has brought a writ of account against Norman, demanding the chattels found on the lands, and the issues from them for the time when Norman held them; but Norman has spent these chattels and issues, together with his other goods and chattels, in the King's service. He asks to be discharged of these chattels and issues with regard to William, and to have the wardship back, of the King's grace.
