Nature of request
Peter of Seint Fussien states that between the feast of St Peter and the beginning of August in the King's father's nineteenth year, Nicholas de Tunstalle, formerly bailiff of Shoreham, arrested woad belonging to Peter, because of the war between the King's father and the former King of France, and then sold it. He requests a writ to Nicholas to pay him the money raised by that sale, and another to the Treasurer and Barons of the Exchequer to cease demanding this sum from Nicholas.
