[This petition is damaged] Roger de Shreburne of York, and Anneys his wife complain that Thomas de Askam, by collusion of his kinsman John de Askam, formerly Mayor of York Robert son of Reginald de Pounfreit and John de Appelby of York, had Roger and Anneys imprisoned in their own house in York and then expelled from it, and stole their goods and chattels. They have been unable to have any justice for this, and ask that certain justices might be appointed to her [the matter] before the justices of the Bench at York.
