Nature of request
Letter from William de Pinibus to Edward I, stating that he, together with Doat his son, Arnold de Pinibus, Raymond de Miganh, Peter de Mirallo and Arnold de Mota, has been captured by the King of France's people, that the King of France's people have seized their lands and are ruining them, and that they owe £300 sterling for their expenses in prison and have nothing to live on. He asks the King to help him and his colleagues, so that they can pay their debts and have something to live on.
