Writ of Edward II to William de Bereford, wishing to know whether the Abbot of Bury St Edmunds had cognisance of all pleas touching the Abbot and his tenants of Bury St Edmunds or not, and if these liberties have been allowed before William and his colleagues of Common Pleas, and asking him to search the rolls and memoranda of Common Pleas for evidence.
