Nature of request
Record of a fine made between Nicholas de la Fisshpole and Hugh de Preston and Maud his wife, concerning tenements in Moreton Jeffreys.
Nature of endorsement
This inquisition was returned and examined before the council. It was answered thus:If Edmund Haclut is outside prison and the tenements are in his hand, she is to sue at common law.If Edmund is in the King's prison and the tenements in the King's hand, she is to wait for Edmund's release.
